Still Looking...
a running car under that price will be a bit difficult. If it runs it probably won't stop. If it stops, you'll be able to see the road through your feet while driving.
GEt a loan and buy one in better condition.
Like i said before i have your ideal car for twice your budget.

You definately have a beauty, but she's a little too done for what I would like... I like to put "A Little" bit of work into a ride, and could replace a bit of initial paid out cash with a lot of labor on my part to save cost.
I've built a couple show cars in the past with VW's, and more recently have shown and built up modern imports, but hunger to combine my skills with the modern with my passion for the old... I'm really into clean sleepers, so a Mini is ideal for where I want to go. I want it to look classic and stock on the outside, but be modern and equipped on the inside.
Thus,
A D-Series Swapped Turbo'd wouldn't be too far in the future, and will allow me to incorporate my skills in modern electronics and engines into an oldschool mini, and will be an insanely beautiful and powerful showpiece. It's just finding a starting point to go off of car-wise.
A Clean Completed car would be nice, but there's so much I'm going to be changing anyways, that I can afford to wait and find the best ride for my needs at the right price...
This is my last ride... a bit different from a Mini for sure... But, I've grown very tired of the import scene and want to get back to the classics...
