Looks great and with the fork mount you may not get the side to side rocking I get with my setup. How do they ride?

For road bikes, the fork mount is the way to go. This type of mount holds a bike firmly in place. There is no side to side rocking.
I have not gone on a trip with the bikes on top of the Mini yet, however I've used the same rack on other cars and carried three bikes on the roof with no issue. The longest trip was 800+ miles round trip.
