Galena Event, Sept 20th and 21st
AutoX, GPCooper and the rest of the Crowd in Galena:
I'll be out in Galena on Sunday for the 1pm drive!!!!! The Girlfriend has been sick and I thought I would be nice and stay home..... Oh well!!!
One Question..... Anyone know of a gas station in Galena with 100 octane? I don't know that area all that well. The tuning REALLY likes 100, but I can get away with 93 and a booster if necessary.
P.S. -- Don't worry, If anyone is going to get A ticket, it won't be me... I'll be the fool to get MULTIPLE tickets!!

The 2nd year for the event and many 1st guests. This was our 1st year at the View Hotel and it was GREAT! Andy is the owner and a great host. We had ton o fun at fire pit.
I think we will make some changes to next year and I would like your thoughts about them.
I think we will stop at Mass Vineyards half way on the Sat leg for restrooms and skip Chestnut MTN for lunch. After rest stop head into Galena for lunch. I also found a parking lot we can pay for next year to make parking in downtown easier and only $5 each.
We have booked ALL the rooms, 11 total, at the View for Sept 19th of next year. If we all stay there we can have a BBQ and party together Sat night. The room rates are super low and rooms are very nice.
On Sunday I think we will do our routes from the hotel at 10am end up in Galena by noon for lunch and then be done. This gives those that want to head home early the time to do both and for those that want to shop will find all of Galena open at noon on Sundays. I may also design two sets of routes, a white knuckle and an easy scenic tour that start and end at the same places about the same time.
I welcome your feed back, the events are for YOU, Your feed back helps.
2009 details will be posted in new thread soon.
