SCD Black Wow Precleaner (wax/polish remover)

Understood. I expect all my BW retailers to be carrying it when it's ready and that would be eshine for you in Canada. Had a long discussion with my father, the chemist, yesterday while hanging out for family time...and it's his next highest priority..to help me knock out the next and hopefully finally version.
Course, he added...after he finishes his book.

Hahahaa
Oh come on, I'm not that Evil!
Anyways if it makes any difference, I'm heading off to visit my dad right now to check on the latest PW development. Btw his book is finished, and is available for $240. Yes that's $US lol.
Course now he's busier than ever..sigh.
I'll report back later...have to check on my wax encrusted MINI trim pieces..that's the tough thing about making a product to remove this stuff...you gotta have plenty of samples on hand including intentionally trying to make the nastiest white marks on test pieces and for some reason it's much harder to do it intentionally!

I'm assuming you are referring to the rubberized plastic rain gutter that borders the glass and the roof? BW will significantly improve this. However, in some cases, you might find brown spots or stains on the trim, and you need to clean this before using BW. My forthcoming PW does a good job at cleaning this, but it seems that the rubber texture still requires a bit of work to clean even with a dedicated cleaner.
In any case, the trim will look much better with BW than without. I just did this today on my MINI.

I expect to have it by SEMA in November. Black Wow durability won't be affected by wax/polish on the trim. However, I'll have you know that I cleaned off the trim off a customer's SAAB that was brought in yesterday using PW ver.3, with very mild rubbing, the wax came off easily. I suspect that ver. 4 & 5 will provide even better results. Ver.1,2, & 3 require gloves due to a high ph level that could irritate the skin. Ver. 4 & 5 that I have yet to test won't irritate the skin, but won't know how it performs until next week.
Once we've gotten closer to the newest formulation, I'll have samples for people to try. Hang in there, we are making big progress!

When do you think it's ready for us? I want my hands on some of this stuff right now. I feel like the black wow isn't lasting as long because of the was/polish in my trim. I even used a tooth brush and other methods. The polish/wax stains are killing me!
Save me, send me a sample!!

I did an inspection today on a brand new black S2000. The customer had prewaxed the paint (NXT 2) before bringing it over. Not exactly sure what he was hoping for, but I could see through his wax job the paint was less than perfect. So I used PW to remove the wax on the fender so I could polish it. It took two applications before I could see through the wax. I haven't done extensive testing on how safe this is, but there were no issues. I applied it on a microfiber towel twice, then heavily diluted it with spray quick detailer with another mf towel to clean off any residue. Then I polished it.
Please note that if you're not a MotoringAlliance.com member, you should join immediately since I'll have some special stuff going on there as far as PW is concerned.

Good!!! No link yet. But pretty soon. I believe I've got a PW testers lists already on on my SCD site. Samples will be going to those people first. My father has been out of the country for the past week and a half and will be back in another week. Then we'll see if we need to do another iteration in the development cycle or just continue finetuning what we've got.

Oh I understand. We are working as fast as possible. Some very interesting developments have been made. As soon as I get some more test pieces, I'll post updated photos of how these perform, but so far in internal testing, it's the best stuff yet and satisfies our requirements.
1.) Works/Removes/Cleans like nothing else
2.) Permanent results (not temporary/masking)
3.) Not harsh on the skin
4.) Doesn't smell nasty
