welcome fellow canadian. I love sauble beach! Herman and i try to frequent it as much as possible. Was there last weekend as a matter of fact. ( the better halfs' folks own a few cottages there ) Actually Herman may end up in the sand fest car show this year if all goes well.

 

Thanks for the welcome. Yes this area is nice and I have a good job which has made it possible for us to stay here which is even more of a bonus. Signing off for tonight ....work in the am comes early for me so I am off to bed!

Still lots I don't know about it or what it actually has and where things are. I pick her up in Vancouver @ Yaletown Mini. I'm from Calgary, AB.

Not even sure if it has OEM floor mats or where the AUX jack is located . Hope to learn lots from this forum.

My wife and I have wanted the Mini for a very long time now since it came out.

I'm new to the forum and thought I would introduce myself. I've been a gearhead forever and bought one of the first Cooper S's back in 2002. My wife and I both drove Minis (hers was an '04) until the birth of our second child necessitated a bigger car. Now she drives a Volvo. The toy cars are a '60 Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite and '79 Ferrari 308 GTS.
Regarding my Mini, I had been servicing it at Mini Oakville since new but, now the car is off warranty, am tired of being gouged by their ridiculous prices. So now I plan to do some maintenance myself with the help of this board.
