Dealer in Quebec City ?
Dealer in Quebec City ?
Does anyone of you know if we're going to have a dealer in Quebec City one day ?
I'd like to buy a Cooper but if I have to go to Montreal... it will be less interesting for me.
I also have the option to buy an used one, but I should find a mechanic shop who knows Mini's mechanic...
Thanx
Steve
PS Sorry for my english... french is my first language !

Pardon the later response time re, but I'm not on here all that much anymore. Things to do and places to go.
There are 3 MINI dealers in Quebec that I know of. I think there's 19 all across Canada. At the beginning when the MINI forst came out, I think there were only 13. So they are growing and popping up everywhere now. There's another in the works right now in Kelowna, BC. Not sure how many other proposed dealers there are in the works though.
Not sure of my Quebecian geography, in the way of how far it is from you to the nearest dealer. But for a lot of us here, we seem to be an average of about 4 hours to our nearest dealer. For me it's the same, for now. I'll have one like 5minutes away from me in a few months. But it is worth it. I took a risk in being that far away, but it is worth it. If anything goes wrong, MINI pays for a flatbad to tow it. If you're realy inconvienced, MINI will reimburse/lend you up to $500 I do believe for meals, hotel stays, etc. I can't remember the particulars on that. I was told that once. I'd have to verify that with someone from MINI. But still, it's worth it to drive one hellof fun car. Take a chance
Cheers,

Tanx for your answer.
Well, I live in Quebec City so I'm 2,5 hours from Montreal. I guess it is not that far, compare to you ! And glad to know that the dealers are aware that their clients are not always close to them so they're "user-friendly" !!! I will check with the dealer when I have a chance.

Just checked MINI-Canada's site for Quebec dealers. All 3 of them looks like they are within kilometers of eachother, around Montreal. You'd think they spead them out a bit. But at least you'd have a selection of dealership once you got to that area, to either buy from and/or get your MINI serviced at.
But with how big Quebec is, I bet they'll be more dealers on they're way. Look at Ontario. They have nine.
Take the plunge. I double dare ya.
Cheers,

In addition and a correction to make on the amount of dealerships Canada-wide, there are/will be 22 instead of the 19 that I said, including the up and coming proposed dealers. Found this out after visiting my dealership just last week. But nothing changes for Quebec as of yet.
Cheers,

MIINI BROSSARD the BEST
the best place to buy a mini is MINI BROSSARD they are the best by far, there service department is the best in the country ,i have never seen service like this before, once they asked me if i was hungry their driver would drive me somewhere to eat, another time i had an appointment at 9 in the morning so instead of waiting around they offered a car, both times i never asked they offered ,i owned a m5 and 740 both cars were bought at canbec and i never had service like that, annik at the service department is the best, she knows more about cars than 99% of all guys, she is the BEST and then there is Steve at the parts department he is a perfect gentleman and tell Annik you want Mark to work on your car ,HE"S is truly amazing and to boot i didn't even buy my mini cooper s there
minidad
