Even though I'm in Ontario, I'm about 20 hours closer to MINI Winnipeg than I am to MINI Toronto! :smile:

more Toronto here, wave if you see a DS/W MCS driving around the don mills/finch area,

strange weather we are having, it was -20 a few weeks ago, now its +! yep.. world's going to hell...

 

A bit inconvenient, yes, but not as bad as others have it.

But to clarify - two hours to the 'Peg, 22 hours to the big smoke.

Ontario sure is a big province - drive across it and see!

 

I'll try to spell it right this time.How is everyone making it through the winter?
Mine has been hard,new tranny,new block heater failed and poured out coolant.But I still trust this car,and love doing a 160KM work day commute,then doing 100-200KM for fun on the weekends

 

I seem to be here, but getting ready to watch the season opener of F1.

 

Sunny, nice and warm here in the Vancouver area. It's lunchtime...I'm hungry. I think I'll go for a drive

Last weekend, I went for a drive to Tubby's Garage in Hope BC. Great fun!

You are very lucky. We have had so much snow, slush and crap that it's become impossible to keep the MINI clean. I gave up. Now I just drive.

 

I wash my MINI at least once a week,not so much for looks,but to get the salt off.I do like a clean car though:smile:

 

Unfortunately, we've pretty well had drought conditions here in the Vancouver area for the last 3 years. This summer spells more water rationing (can't even wash my car), lots of new and amazing bugs (the insect type) that travel over on boats from Asia, and other things associated with a lack of rain or a cold enough winter to kill off anything that doesn't really belong here.

Also, I'm a skiier so after going skiing in the hills, I'm washing my car to get the salt and sand off under the car in the cracks too.

Still, nothing like a good winding mountain road to drive on....

Perhaps it was just a social comment on our existential existance. If our future is hopeless, then 'were is everyone'...
