Compared to the U.S. MINI site, the Canadian version simply pales in comparison when it comes to customizing the MINI. When ordering at the showroom, are there more options than the Canadian website? (i.e. JCW aero kit, wheel options etc. etc.) Basically, can I spec out a car on the U.S. site, bring it in to a Canadian showroom and expect to get a car just like it in Canada? (Obviously prices will be outrageously out of our favour despite the fact that our dollars are nearly par).

 

Yes the MINI Canadian site leaves something to be desired.
There is no mention of optional colour line choices such as Cream White.
There is no mention of limited slip available on the S.
The dealer should be able to confirm these and other "hidden" options available.
Some items available in the U.S. however can not be had here.
Hopefully there is a price reduction when '08 pricing is announced, or at least additional standard content to partially offset the terrible gulf between U.S. and Canadian MINI pricing.

 

The difference in price is really not that significance. If you look at all the options your getting with the canadian version it is really not that bad. Obviously the website could use more work.

With the LSD, it does show up on the dealer screen when your buying the car.
