Pulley Install in Canada??

Hello Everyone,

I searched and I searched... but found nothing. Does anyone know where I can get a pulley installed in B.C or Alberta?? I thought I was going to try it myself, but I chickened out.

Try a dealer

I had mine installed by Mini Yaletown's service department in Vancouver about a month ago. I had it installed during my 2nd service visit because they were replacing the belt anyway. They only charged me ~$120 for the install. I was going to do mine myself too but to save ~$120 I couldn't be bothered.

I bought my pulley but I know that Graham, the Service Manager, is bringing them in himself but I'm not sure what he's charging for them.

Another Vancouver area installer is Bishop Sales (www.bishopsales.com) but I don't know what they charge for the work.

Good luck...it's worth it!!

Actually, that sounds about right. $120 for labour, $200US for the part. In 2004, I think our dollar was sitting around $.72.

If $350 was just for labour, I would agree with you that it's a bit on the high side.

Nope, I bought the pulley directly from Alta.

Wow! 3 1/2 hours labour. I think Alta did pulley installs at AMVIV for free.
