Hey there, just wondering what kind of time frame you had until your baby arrived???

I order my last week and was told End of Oct.

 

I wanted an indi blue + white roof MCS back in June 2004. My dealer said that it will take 3 weeks...luckily I ended up getting the car in the showroom which has the pana roof + sport package. No regrets.

 

I ordered mine July 15th i still have no production number. Expecting September build date.

I am calling them when my MA gets in today

 

one in the showroom had what I wanted... one week to "prep" it.

that was in late '04 though... :D

 

Ordered Alice in Feb 07. But dealer was "not allowed" to order MCS until April. Arrived end of June. But that was then and this is now...

 

ordered Feb 24th, and arrived May 3rd. That's was also with CN Rail on strike, got stuck in Halifax for 2 weeks and then the Calgary train yard on strike for a bit.

 

I got a production number!!! NICE

 

I got the keys to my 2006 MCS (Nov '05 delivery) two months and 4 days after putting my official order in. No rail or other strikes. Not that I was anxiously keeping track or anything...

 

Does anyone know if after you order it and it has not gone for production can you make any changes to it like hum change the roof colour?

 

I made a couple of changes after my order was already in. Call your MA asap and they may still be able to do it.

If we are able to get a production number, can we access the same website that our US cousins use????
Sigh....I really wish my MA would be more accomodating....

 

My number does not work on the US site, it says it is not in the data base. I called 1888DRVMINI and they said my MA has the most infro. My MA did not have a production week as of yet, he said he got the number that morning and would have one next week.

 

They told me "about" 6 weeks on July 14, but I have faith I might have it in 4 or 5 teehee!

 

my production week is 38

 

That is the week starting September 22nd.

MA called me yesterday I have touchdown in Halifax! They still figure I will not see it here in Edmonton for a couple of weeks...SO HOPEFULLY the last week of August...

Any update on your order yet? I think I am either 37 or 38 too and the wait is getting longer and longer lol.

i ordered my mini on Sept 1st and i got my VIN number on Oct 20th or something

Ordered Mid Aug collected car first week of october,

 

Ordered Feb 07, dealer could not get more S models ordered until end of March (they were not happy). Arrived end of June.

But I bought an 06 in January (private sale) and had a guaranteed price with the dealer no matter how long it took the new one to arrive, and no matter how far I drove it.

I was fine with that. The 06 was my first MINI and was great, the 07 is greater (except I miss the exhaust burble).
