See you there early, maybe not for a drive. Believe it or not I have to be somewhere that day around 10.

Just a quick note: we are having a food drive at work until 11/20, all proceeds go to the Cleveland Food Bank. If you'd like to donate some cans of food that would be great. I also am thinking of donating some of my time on one of my days off to go there and volunteer.

 

How about we end at the PUB in Rocky River for lunch?

They open at 11:00.

I will make sure we use roads that are faster than 25 MPH this time LOL

 

even though that is incredibly inconvenient for me I think that's a GREAT IDEA!!!

Please find the following route

From Penera:

West on Wilson Mills to Bishop
Turn right on Bishop
Take Bishop (watch the left turn on Bishop past the big bend before Euclid, it is marked) to Euclid
Turn right on Euclid
Take Euclid to Lloyd
Turn left on Lloyd
Take Lloyd to Lake Shore Blvd
Turn Left onto Lake Shore Blvd
Take Lake Shore Blvd all the way to Edgewater park.
Turn right onto North Marginal road ( jsut before 20 east overpass) and enter 20 East.
Take 20 East to the Lake Ave exit.

You will see part of Edgewater park on the right. Stop at the light and turn right into the park. Time for a stretch and to take in the view

Go out out where we came in turning left. This runs us into Lake Ave.

Take Lake Ave all the way till it ends. There is a turn to the left that intersects Clifton Ave.
Turn right onto Clifton Ave and exit at Detroit Road.
Turn left at Detroit Road. The pub is on the left about a block

hi- I'm sitting at the Mini dealership waiting for the car (wifi- yea!). Are folks going to the Pub for lunch? I might be able to make that, and drive along that way which is toward where I live

 

Food was great
Drive was fun
No one got lost
No one got pulled over LOL
View of the Cleveland skyline was superb (thank you Mowse)
Mowse lead the group in the second half of our drive and was the subject of most of the jokes
Once again, the warm hand of friendship was extended.

All in all I think this meet was truly successful
