Dirty MINI?

Your MINI gives you the best motoring, so why not give your MINI the best detailing?

North East Ohio can be harsh on a MINI. Salt in the winter, road grime from summer construction projects and acid rain year-round can wreak havoc on an unprotected MINI! Not only does detailing leave your MINI looking nearly brand-new, but it also increases the car’s value and makes you the envy of drivers in less-immaculate vehicles.

I specialize in exterior, interior and engine detailing. After a complete detail, you may not recognize your MINI! Using only the best, longest-lasting and most-effective products, I utilize my 3 years of professional experience to bring back the shine of your motoring machine- inside, outside and under the hood! I have extremely reasonable rates, especially when considering the quality of work and product I use. I do not buy product in bulk, unlike most of your local detail shops and dealerships; I use only the best!

My going rate for a full detail is ONLY $90! Yes, that's right! Inside, outside and under the hood- for less than half of what it would cost to take it to a detail shop or dealership.

My experience is not just limited to MINIs, either! From a classic Jaguar to minivans, and nearly everything in between, I am confident that I can take any vehicle and bring it back to life. I have many thrilled customers who return time after time! I am extremely thorough, and have even been accused of suffering from OCD (Obsessive Car Detailing!). I am able to operate year round, and winter is still a great time to have your MINI detailed.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule a detail, please contact me through North American Motoring, or call my cell phone at 330-204-2417. I look forward to hearing from many of you!

Happy Motoring!
Mike N.

Don’t take my word for it! Here’s a look at my 2003 MINI Cooper S after a quick detail I did a few weeks ago to get her ready for the snow. I use the same products, techniques and time on client’s cars that I use on my MINI. Let the picture speak for itself: you will be more than pleased with the results!

Wow, Mike... that's a great rate. Just $90 for a full detail ? Clay bar, polish with a PC buffer, hand wax, the whole nine yards ? How do you do all that so inexpensively ?

And what are those great products you're using ??

I might have to drive up there.

Yes, I have the pricing set very aggressively. Unfortunately being an independent detailer, it is a bit difficult to obtain new customers... though the ones I do have come right back!! By offering a great rate, I feel that I can attract more customers than if I charged, say, $500! Because my rate is so reasonable and my work is excellent, I am often given referrals, which helps offset the low prices! Should I and could I charge more? Probably, but I don't look to do so, unless I have a huge influx of customers!!

You have my process just about right! Unfortunately I do not do polishing. I am able to, but due to so many variables (ex: car being repainted, different paint thickness, varying paint conditions), I feel the liability is too great at this point!

From Prima to Meguiars to Griot's Garage to Collinite, I've found out through trial and error on MY own car what works- and what is inevitably just a cleverly marketed product! I will let onto one secret I have: I use Collinite Insulator Wax. You've never seen a longer lasting, better protecting wax- guaranteed! It was originally designed to use on power-lines to prevent "flash-overs" when birds would leave droppings on the lines. The wax is so slick, the droppings would fall right off the power lines... now think what it does to protect your MINI! I've found it to make future car washing much simpler and needed much less often.

Ahhh... no polishing with a random orbital buffer. That explains how you can do that for $90. That portion of my semi-annual major detailing takes about 4 hours per MINI.

Of course, as an OCDetailer myself, I can't imagine detailing without that step. Pretty darn vital, IMO. But I'm sure most customers are quite happy with that kind of detailing.

Good luck in your business !

Thanks for the well-wishes!

With our highly "lawyerized" world, it's a bit difficult to offer polishing... as I said, the variables make it too much of a liability.

Despite not polishing with a buffer, I'm still able to get outstanding results!

Agreed, iwashmycar!

And of course I'm flexible. If you want JUST the engine or JUST the interior or JUST the exterior done, I am more than willing to do that as well.

I'm in Jackson Township, near the North Canton/Massillon area... about 15 minutes south of Akron or 20 minutes north of Canton.

Half the fun of owning my classic is "bath time" but I might have to come see you in April when it comes out of storage for some "spring cleaning" just to start the season off right.

I've paid more for less.... (on my wife's car). My car could use a good cleaning inside and out but I'm just too lazy/busy to do it.

I'm up in the "Far East" of Lake County, so you're a good hour (+some) South of me, but it would be worth the drive, I think.

Do you have a "lounge"

ThomB-

I'm sure you probably have paid more for less! Having worked at a dealership and a detail shop, I've seen the "behind the scenes" of the industry. Many of the products used in such places are those that I wouldn't even use on a Hot Wheel's car and many employees are completely careless.

It would be worth the drive! And just think- that's an hour (+some) of clean, freshly-detailed motoring time! Not a bad deal!

As of now, I do not have a lounge... but the man cave that I have built in my head is impressive!

As I sit here in shorts, I'm reminded that prime MINI motoring time is approaching quickly!

Your MINI's interior is likely caked with salt and remnants of a long, cold winter and her exterior is not quite looking showroom new. Or maybe you'll be getting your car out of the garage for the first time in a few months! Regardless, detail season is here and I'd love to bring your car back to it's original beauty!

If you have any questions, PM me on NAM, e-mail me (mneider1@kent.edu) or call me at 330-204-2417!

Thank you!
Mike

I've only posted pictures of my own car or family member's cars... I don't want any of my customers seeing their car posted around a forum!

If you would like to see more examples though, I can send pictures in a PM!

You do nice work. If you were closer I'd take you up on your services. Your MINI always looks very good.

I am a bit worried how a Clubman ended up looking like a Lincoln Navigator once you were done with it.
