Hey guys...I saw a pretty lively-fun forum in the main area and I thought I'd carry it over. I wondered how many of you out there wave at fellow mini-ites! I have initiated quite a few and gotten some good response...but not many initiaters. I dunno...just that it was cool to see what your experiences were!

 

I'm a waver. More of an initiater. It seems that many do not wave back lately.

When I got my mini in 04 there were more wavers.

I wave!!! I was 2 for 2 today! Both Clubmans WOO HOO!!

 

I wave, but I have been known to miss a couple when the family's in tow. They always point it out just a bit too late.

 

I wave and make my passengers wave too. My boss thinks I'm so crazy...

When we're going to lunch he'll wave from his Honda Civic (green if you ever see a waver) just to make me laugh...

 

My boss and co-workers have given up making fun of me & the mini cult I belong to.

 

Awesome, I love that there are so many waving instigators! !Are you crazy if you wave at parked Mini's? I'm surprised at how few MINIS in motion I see when I'm driving around Mentor...is there a lesser per capita mini enrollment in that area?!

 

no, not unless no one's in it.

 

I have wave and if Nancy is with me we Scream MINI too. There does not have to be anyone in the car.

It was MINI weekend in Mentor...seriously...

my wife and I saw at least 7 different mini's; and of all the minis (I think 4) who could see us waving like a couple of buffoons...all waved back...HOORAY! We were having so much fun...

 

chase them down like the dogs they are and give them a flier

 

I'm not much of a waver unless i see a really nicely modified one or someone I know.

 

Driving around in the classic its fun when people wave but I get more pleasure from the people driving new MINI'S who just stare with that "what the hell was that" look on their faces. You would be surprised how many people are clueless. Actually had someone in a MINI ask me what I was driving at a gas station. told them it was a peterbuilt and walked away.

 

HAHAHAHA!!! I wish I could come up with stuff like that fast enough!

 

There are only about five or six MINI'S in a 25 mile radius of where I live in central Georgia. I wave if I see one and get a return wave once in awhile.

 

I always wave. about half wave back.

Quite alot of Minis runing around in New England. New englanders are notorious for being cold and aloof, this is one tiny crack in the ice I work on.

I wave, but iv noticed many women are to unaware of whats going on to waveback, or some ppl dont pay attention to all the cars around them, but im always on the lookout for cool cars. I am always initiating it, i odnt think anyone has ever waved to me. Unfortunately all the minis iv ever seen in indianapolis or bloomington are never modded, just me.....

 

Sometimes i flash the brights becuz unless my window is down im to tinted up for ppl to see me wave so

 

I like being flashed...
