We had a fun time this past weekend and I got some contact info from our B&B hosts/friends if we want to forge ahead with MINIs on the Bay (lol-anyone outside the Great Lakes area will think we are talking about San Fran.)...I will shoot out emails to the contacts to see what I can find out and keep y'all updated.

For our group we can do the Black Squirrel B&B and for overflow there are condo right behind the B&B so we can keep the group together (ours at least). They start taking reservations for 2009 after New Year's. And there is a FABULOUS restaurant right next door. Depending on how many people from our group can do this and how much interest we get from other group(s) (I was going to throw a post on the MI group that seems to be based around Detroit...PIB is about half way for the 2 areas) the sky is the limit for activities...drive? show? contest to see who can correctly guess how many MINIs can fit on one Miller Ferry???

Anywho...the feedback I have heard so far is leaning for after Labor Day (off season rates) since there is already a lot going on late spring/early summer...so it would probably end up being the 2nd weekend after Labor day since there is a BIG Boy Scout to-do the first weekend after, and we don't want to get much later in the season than that....any feedback or ideas?!?!?!

 

You and Bob need to talk. I agree after Labor day is perfect. Plus this gives us a lot of time to plan and make it a huge success. Count on me for any help you need.

 

how about starting on a Thursday-Sunday? I'll have to leave Saturday A.M. as my son plays football at B-W. It would be a drag to go up for only a night.
