Should be a fun day! Looks like rain is coming our way but we've never let that bother us before. Don't forget to bring your 2-way radio!

I am south off of 65 so I will be able to simply go north till we hit the bridge. I got a map of the location now so we should be fine. Applewood opens at 11am and from their website it is a very nice place. Not sure if there is a dress code or not so I plan to spiff up a little.

Cigarguy,

It's late notice, I know, but I now may have a navigator (my son, if he can make it over from Lexington in the morning). Don't worry if the restaurant doesn't have enough room -- I'll slip my leftovers out to him in the parking lot.

Like others here, I have no idea where the start location is, so I'm hoping my GPS with 6 year-old maps has some idea.

I can probably bring a couple of extra radios for those in need -- I only ask that you not take off on me into lala land when finishing the route.

And hey -- I got a lousy wheel alignment today from Cincy MINI, so if you see me all over the road on Saturday, that's my story and I'm sticking to it !!

Actually, I scoped it out the last time I was up there for business. It's very casual for lunch. I plan to wear jeans and probably a fleece or sweatshirt. Just be comfortable. It's a small town that's very laid back.

Speed, no problem. I did tell them we needed a few more seats than we had listed for instances such as this.

Here are mapquest directions from a generic start piont in Louisville.

Good run CIGARGUY. Turned out pretty nice despite the weather. It was a good warm up for the Dragon in the spring. As long as we keep our cabrio on the road we'll be fine!

By the way, this is Tripp. I finally got an admin to change my profile name. I don't know what I was thinking using my full name.

Yea, after a couple goes he was able to get it out. Everything appears good, but it may need some alignment. Course, Speedpetal needs another alignment as well. Maybe you guys could get a group rate.

Great drive, food, company and conversation, despite the weather. Thanks for putting this together, Cigarguy. Glad everyone finished the drive on pavement.

The Mrs. and I will check our schedules to see if we can make the Sunday social / mod party on 12/14.

Great drive as usual minus the rain.

I was suprised that we did get Moic's mini out without a wrecker and no visible damage. Ingenuity and brute strength got that sucker out in 10 mins.

Let's not forget about Cigarguy slipping on his ****.

Oh yeah!
Nice and fun drive, and yes, minimoic is just fine, thx for asking and for the help everyone!

i did not notice any paint/rim scratch , but it seems it needs the aligment, i felt a slight vibration when going back on 71. (i just did it in goodyear a couple of weeks ago, when i changed my front tires for non-runflats, since my right front wheel blew up in a pothole on 265).

So, when are we going for the group alaigment Speedpedal?? Goodyear charges about $70

By the way, I can not promise to keep the cabrio on the road next time, where is the fun on that?

Glad everyone made it out! It was good to see everyone again. We need to do that WAY more often.

And yes, gravity did rule with me while getting Minimoic out of the ditch, but I only got my hands muddy! Thankfully, it was a mostly damage free situation.
