At least you can find parts for a classic Mini in the local parts shops. Part places here have never heard of a classic Mini.

Actually, Adelaide has a serious old mini following - it would be a great place to do a project on an old mini. I'd love to do up a clubman.....

When I started looking at classics, my wife told me I couldn't get a clubman. So I got a roundnose. It currently only has 2 wheels.

I took some pics, then we ran into trouble and I lost interest in taking photos...
I flushed my brake lines at least..
Stumpy and I got the guages in, and the boost is working, but the oil pressure dosen't work because we couldn't get the spanner into the tight space where the sender unit is...
Worse though, I now have no interior lighting on everything below the stereo (speedo etc are still good). I can't lower my windows, turn off ASC, unlock the car or use the foggies.....
We ran out of time trouble-shooting, as I had to come to work....man...it's going to be a long shift. I'm not looking forward to pulling everything apart again to work this out...

It's sorted.....got it all working now......I'll go take some photos and post them tomorrow.....
phew! Now I can put my windows down again!
