Cooper S Bonnet

I have a MC Space Blue Checkmate.
I was wondering if it is at all possible to change the bonnet to an s bonnet with the scoop cause I think it just finishes the car nicely.
Has anyone done this ?
I didn't buy the S cause I don't really need the extra speed and power.

I can't see why an R53 Cooper S bonnet would not fit an R50 Cooper. I can ask why you would want to do it though.

I actually reckon the Cooper bonnet looks better.

Actually, my MINI just came home from the body shop today, and I had the R53 bonnet installed as part of the work. I had the scoop painted flat black to match all of the black grill work on the new Aero Kit I had installed. On my PW/B it really looks awesome...at least that's my opinion. The R53 bonnet is a perfect fit on the R50. The bonnet liner also needs to be replaced to match the scoop opening.

I hope to post some new pics of SHADOWFAX in the next day or so, so you'll be able to judge for yourself. I'm really happy with the new look!

I am considering doing the same thing to my Cooper. How much does a new bonnet cost nowadays?
