Brake work needed . . . any suggestions?
Brake work needed . . . any suggestions?
So, any suggestions or experiences to share on shops/mechanics that do brake work on MINIs in Little Rock? Any good experiences with the name-brand guys?
Held out hope that I'd somehow find the time to replace pads myself, but that intermittent, metal on metal sound when the passenger-side rear brake is applied
lets me know that fantasy is dead.

You have a second option: Daniel Vaught. He works at the BioFuel on the corner of Chester and 8th. He autoxes a MINI and works on them. His number is 817-293-9063 and his email is dvot18@gmail.com.
That's "870" (not "817") on the area code for his cell number, in case anyone jotted it down.
Reporting back that I'm very pleased with the rotor and pad replacement Daniel Vaught at Little Rock Green Garage did (after a few days of running on them). He is very courteous, professional, and patient and informative in response to questions. He's at the top of my list for any non-dealer repair.
