Ok, as of today (reminder: I'm *newly* obsessed) I have seen at least 10 MINIs in Fort Smith. Seen quite a few recently, probably due to the nice(r) weather we've been having lately... If there's anybody here in/around the Fort Smith area, please let me know! (Oh pretty please, let there be.)

Anyway, if you see me...




...driving around in a white 2-door GrandAm (skulls on the back windshield), say hi! Hopefully gonna have a MINI to call my own soon once I'm sure of all the details.

Also if there are people around the area, where did you purchase your MINI from? I called Jackie Cooper in OKC a few times, and they seemed not at all interested in my business.

 

I'm not from Ft. Smith...but I am from Russellville. And when I go up to Ft. Smith for work, I too see minis. I go to Roadshow in Memphis.

 

We're not from your area either, but thought we would also recommend Roadshow MINI. We visited three MINI dealers before buying Gromit, ended up buying from Roadshow and we were treated well. It'll be a while but my wife is going to get a Clubman and we plan to buy it from Roadshow, too.

 

I saw my first Sparkling Silver MINI today! Definitely going to check out Roadshow then, Jackie Cooper people were just...haughty, almost. Like they couldn't really be bothered with me.

Heh heh--course you qualify--most of those "models" didn't have MINI's either, lol. Course the thread has been removed for awhile due to the bad behavior of a few people---but certainly in concept you would qualify in my honest opinion.

 

Hey I live in Fort Smith. Have a BRG Mini Cooper S with a BRG top. Bought it at Baron Mini in KC. They had the best deal and treated us like people. Had the same impression of Jackie Cooper that you did.

Lol, I've been keeping track of all the MINIs I've seen recently. They're increasing in numbers, it seems. *lust*

 

Brand new MINI Cooper S owner in Fort Smith here as well. Dark silver, black roof, black racing stripes, and chrome mirror caps.. I went to the dark side and ordered through Jackie Cooper. While they were nice, they left me with an interesting story....

Once my MINI arrived in OKC, a motoring advisor got confused and drove it down to Dallas to attend a "training" event. They apologized profusely and gave me a gift certificate for parts and lots of $$$ off, but.. wow.. the damage was done.

 

Yikes! Heh, I have a mini story from them as well now. I called against my gut and asked if they had any slots open. We had a friendly chat, I was pretty pleased, ...and then a few minutes later, the guy starts texting me, asking what my interests are, if I wanna go out, what I look like, etc. When I didn't answer, he started CALLING and left mean voicemails!

 

Wow.. that's horrible. I don't know what can be done about that, but I'm for sure going to spread the word that OKC is not the way to go.
