The idea is to build up the sleep reserves now, so you don't need to sleep once you get to Vegas.
GoFast energy drinks will be at the Boot N Bonnet show again to help with the no sleep thing. I like them MUCH better than redbull or monster or even rockstar.

Oh, I think my shape will go over just fine.

I see you never been "NOS" before, it's the energy drink FireBall Tim's Wild Bunch drinks.
On MTTS, they would hammer down 3 or 4 of these before they started that days run.
After all night dancing in Washington DC, we all did some "hammering" of "NOS" too for the ran to Jersey City, NJ. I never drove my Mini so fast, for so long as I did that day
! I'm bring a case of the stuff for Vegas

hey all... thanks for the good weather wishes. so far it's not so great here... has been snowing/sleeting pretty much all day, but not much accumulation. just a lot slush. i heard lots of people talking about cancelled flights today, so that's not a good sign. i'm hoping things will improve tomorrow, but i am preparing for delays. even if i can't get out until sunday, i can still leave on Monday and make the trip in 4 days.
anyway, at least i was able to eat at a few of my favorite restaurants and get a little museum culture fix.

Hey Sandie - I PM'ed Ian about this. He's not going to be there, but said I could order one and have someone help me install it there. however, i've procrastinated ordering it. he's actually on vacation now, but said that if I order one, he will ship it out Monday the 19th when he's back to arrive by Thursday or Friday (or earlier I guess). So I think I'm going to order one. Of course, i think he's on the east coast so i don't know if his return will be delayed.

My hands are a bit big for the blind install, but I'm sure we can find a small pair. If nothing else, I'll have my torx driver, and it's not a long or complicated process. I'll bring velcro.

Just made it!
I got home from work this evening and found a package in my mailbox. I thought we were going to pick up our grill badges in Las Vegas, but it's here! Yay!
Just made it as we're leaving for Las Vegas on Sunday morning (no mail delivery here on Saturdays). We're wearing it down so the border guards won't have any doubt where we're going.
MINI_Dreams, my cousin is stranded in New Jersey due to an ice storm. Hope it clears for you.

all is well... laguardia airport was functioning well today and my flight was only an hour delayed. so I made it home and I'm happily motoring again. now prepared to make the drive to vegas.
oh, and I got samples of the t-shirts i'll be selling at AMVIV... they look great! be sure to come by my booth (plug, plug).
