OMG! Too funny! You need to get Hals out on some more roadtrips, Tulsie! You'll get over that preciousness thing real "fast!"
I admit, though, that it will be good to have the self-serve carwashes scoped out!

Off Topic or not?
Maybe I missed it, or maybe not
are there dinner plans for Thursday night. I would love to meet you all face to face, and not sure I can afford to go to the Offical dinner on Friday
(which reminds me is there going to be a vegitarian option at the friday dinner?)
Cheers

For those on a budget, the diner/cafe in Palace Station was surprisingly good, and very reasonably priced. If you have a Station Casinos players club card with points on it, it becomes even more reasonable.

Special Menu Options!
Yes! Just make sure to PM me with your name and email address and we'll make sure. We've got a diabetic and a few others with special needs and have no problems accomodating that.
As for not being able to afford it, don't forget that while this is a fund raising dinner for CureAutismNow.org, I consider this MUCH more of an Event rather than a dinner. We've got thousands of dollars of MINI merchandise we are going to be giving away just for the price of a raffle ticket. Heck you'll get a ticket in your gift bag, just for pre-registering.
It's also a social event--we've got the restaurant from 6:30 to 10pm and we're all seated in an area that can accomodate 400 persons---reserved just for us MINI enthusiasts! So not only will you have great food, all of your MINI buddies in one place, you'll have chances to win prizes, and all pre-registered people will get a gift bag already valued at more than $35. We're going to have MINI videos playing on the giant video screen and games and more prizes. We even got a trivia game going on now. All you have to do is be able to answer questions at the event and you can win cool stuff. All the answers can be found either on our forum at http://c3club.org or here on the C3 forum on NAM. More games are being planned and will be announced shortly. Frankly, if you're planning on attending AMVIV, you don't want to miss this event.

I try to keep her looking her best, but having fun in her and getting to fantastic places and meets comes first! Yeah...in the West, we can drive and drive and drive and still be in the same state! I hear ya, Tulsie!

 Thank you so much, Nik, for caring about the autism cause. It really is important and I deeply appreciate your support.
I look forward to meet you during the meet! Come say hi to me!

According to their website, there's one located at 6455 WEST SAHARA AVENUE, and I believe the Palace Station is near Sahara Ave.
Andrew, any comments on the joint?

The Sin City MINI Club has had a couple of Motor Ins at that Sonic. The manager gave us 50% off drinks. Very cool. If someone is going to organize dinner there, I'll get you a contact number for the place.
Yes, Palace is on Sahara, and that Sonic is also on Sahara. Turn left (west) out of Palace and go a couple of miles, Sonic is on the left side of the road. At dinner time, the office building next door provides overflow parking for a decent number of MINIs.

Or shall it be a pool party at the Palace?
MINI Pool Party????
If we could take our MINIs to the pool party - it could work
I think the Sonic drive-in sounds great and we could put the word out to have everyone park together in the lot next door.
I've never been to a Sonic but I keep hearing about it - sounds like fun!

Or, we could do something like we used to do at Netnics. 40 or 50 people would all go as a group to McDonalds, and all stand in the same line. Refuse all offers of another line. Everyone orders 2 ice-cream cones each. Nothing else.
We used to get some odd looks, but the 2nd year (and beyond) there was usually someone in the place who remembered us from the prior year.
