FS:Stock Intercooler with Thermal Dispersant Coating
FS:Stock Intercooler with Thermal Dispersant Coating/SOLD
Stock intercooler with thermal dispersant coating $100 shipped in the U.S. Sold
I currently have the GP intercooler and too many stock ICs.
Here is a thread with some testing I did on the thermal dispersant coated IC https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=46713

Thank you for your interest. “Worth it” is highly subjective, if you read through my heat dispersant thread it may help you with that decision. If it is difficult to extrapolate a relevant answer given the erroneous back & forth on that thread, here is the bottom line on the coating performance. Overall, IATs were a little over 3F cooler with the coating, not much by any standard but a delta none the less. Since then, tests conducted by others had better results but I can’t speak for their validity.
When you get past the basic bolt-on improvements you have planned, performance increases become more expensive to attain. My general rule is any thing (on its own) more expensive than $100/hp potential gain, is too rich for me. I can not tell you with certainty that a 4.6C cooler intake manifold temp will retain 1hp of potential loss, but I feel it is probable.
From other standpoints, if your IC fins are smashed then the condition of this IC will be an improvement, if your aesthetic leans toward stealth or the color black, this IC fits the bill.
