Sorry for a late response... Silly me, I take it for granted that everyone spends their spare time either at MINI dealerships or on line at MINI USA and are familiar with MINI esorteria...
The cupholder is the OEM MINI model that attaches to the passenger side console "down post". All 2006 MINIS come with them. I'll look for a photo, or at least take a snapshot and post it. But, in absence of a photo during this post, I'd describe it as pencil-thick chrome metal frame with soft black rubber top and bottom. The actual mounting plate is plastic, colored anthracite to match all other anthracite interior colors. Hope that helps.

Quertmonkey, you're a champ!
The only difference is that mine has an anthracite-colored mounting plate (can't be seen in Quermonkey's photo). These do not require extra screws or holes drilled. They bolt into existing Torx screws that apparently fasten the down post to the dash... or maybe hold in place the HVAC & toggle controls.

Qwertmonkey, thanks a 2nd time for the photo assistance. Sixth gear in 109 days... now that's a crash course in NAM 101! No wonder you can easily find and borrow photos. I haven't even figured out how to make a cool sig. yet.
Anyway, back to you folks who might be interested in my Cupholder... These things cost $49.95 at the dealer, plus tax. I saw other recent posts and it looks like they sell on NAM pretty easily at $20 + shipping (shipping is probably $4 UPS grd).

That is a steal. I couldn't find it for less than 50 from ANY vendors.
As for the sig issue, there are several ways to accomplish that.
Best of luck
As for the sig issue, there are several ways to accomplish that.
- The Free Way: The GIMP. It is a free download that allows you to edit photos and create things like sigs!
- The Expensive way: Adobe Photoshop. That'll run you $500-$1k+. Not reallly worth it since there is GIMP. Its really a life saver.
Best of luck

both items sold
Cupholder and Console organizer is sold.
Thanks everyone for your interest. Now, just if I can sell my '59 Mercedes as easily, I'll have room in the garage for LOTS of extra MINI toys.
Qwertmonkey,
Thanks for the tips on sigs... Got the programs, just need the time. Did you have a JCW GP as a sig recently?
