I think that you would need to remove the s/c and than remove the shaft
from the s/c ; than heat the pulley and press it onto the shaft.
If you press the pulley onto the shaft without removing the shaft,
you could damage the bearings.

easiest way to do it would be to remove the s/c itself and put it on the press....probably would be the safest way too..

Good luck!
Thanks for the input guys. I want a JCW pulley because it will be easier to get warranty coverage with it, especially if I let the dealer install it. No guarantees, but they're less likely to deny coverage with an OEM part. The dealer has some discretion in these matters.
If anyone has a JCW supercharger, I'd take that too. Seems like they're pretty rare used but I'll keep looking...

You know how this is done!
To install the JCW pulley: The S/C shaft is treaded with an 8mm. hole. ( There is a small cover in the end of the shaft, use a small screw driver to get it started, unscrew it from the shaft. ) Get an aprox. 70mm. long harden bolt cut the head off. Now install the bolt in the shaft. ( Use Anti-seize on the treads and install it in all the way. ) Heat the JCW pulley. W/ a large & strong washer and nut. Place the pulley at the end of the shaft. Use an air wrench to install/press the JCW pulley on. ( You need to be quick. ) When the washer is flush w/ the end of the shaft the pulley is in place! ( Look at your stock or JCW pulley to see for yourself. ) This is the way the 1st pulleys where installed. Ask an old timer. This is the EZ part of the pulley install.
