Kenwood DDX6019 with iPod and xm

Well I made a goof and I'm dissapointed. I bought this unit thinking it would be great especially when I got the bluetooth interface (thank goodness that didn't ship) and I can dial and answer calls right on the touchscreen.

No dice for me. It is a double DIN unit and I thought I could relocate the A/C controls. That I can do but I can't relocate the A/C control motor that moves the vents so this has to go.

Brand New in the Box (kenwood just released it a few weeks ago) DDX6019 7" widescreen color touchscreen CD/DVD Receiver. The details on the unit can be found on Kenwoods site:
http://www.kenwoodusa.com/products/L...k3=149&pr=2349

Also included is the iPod adapter KCA-ip500 so that you can leave your ipod in the glove. It will charge it all the while giving you full control over the ipod and see the info right on the touchscreen!

And wait there's more! If you buy in the next 30 minutes (not really) we will throw in the XM adapter to hookup your XM direct straight to the Kenwood headunit!

The retail on all this stuff is $1200 ( I don't know the exacts/ give or take $50).

I will sell it all for $800.

Why you ask would we do this? Because we are crazy!!!!!
Actually I am selling it for what I have in it. I happen to be in the home audio business (if you hadn't figured that out yet by my sig) and have access via favors from my reps to get deals on car audio. Because of this I can't return it. I can put it on ebay and probably make a few bucks but I thought I would give the NAM members a chance to get a great deal!

Now I know to look behind the dash before thinking I can change things around.

someone else may be able to fit this into their car by going below the switch panel but I am not willing. Or you may have a car that this will work in.

I will provide the buyer with a proper invoice that will give them full warranty coverage.

Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions.

Looking to install double din unit

I have been looking into installing a double din unit, but I have yet to break open the dash to have a look. Why is it the a/c motor cannot be moved? Do you think it would be possible with a little fabrication?
