sorry, I had one on the 03 mcs that recently sold, but it was a great sounding system. We had the one with the resonator and overall the sound was very low and mean but not loud. I would say it was about as loud as the Alta or the Milltek but definately not as loud as the Magnaflow....

hmm... and it's a 2.5" tubing? and just to make sure it was like a milltek/alta WITH the resonator?

It's been a few months since I reviewed this system, but the build quality was very nice, even though the metal is not polished like Milltek and Alta. Everything seemed to be well done. Doug Thorley has a good rep in other markets (mainly american cars) and their system for the MINI just did not get enough exposure so we're helping get their name out in the community.

True, but a lot of people might not have the time, or what to spend more money/time going to a place to weld on tips. I'm just listing a possible down-side with the exhaust that some may agree with.

For 266.00... I kind of like the exhaust tips. Can always change them.

keep in mind it's not stainless steel. still, for the price on eBay, I'd give it a whirl if I didn't have something already

It is stainless, just not polished.

O RLY? I don't see any mention of that on Jardine's site, only 'CNC mandrel bent heavy duty 16 gauge aluminized tubing'. If it's SS, it doesn't need to be aluminized. You only do that on carbon steel to prevent corrosion. Perhaps a clarification from Outmotoring that the one they are selling is indeed SS. Maybe they have a special batch of SS models...good deal at $400 for sure

It is mostly going to be sound. The resonated version is about the same as the Milltek and the Alta but the non resonated....I have yet to hear in person...
