Rent (or Sell) your Garmin Nuvi!
So, I'm going to bump this thread.
Min2Go or Sara'sMini,
Any more feedback on the MIO Nav. system? I noted that RadioShack has a current promotion for the C320 4.3 @ $249.99 aka $250 plus tax.
I was wondering if any of the non-MINI branded Nav. owners were using this unit or the C220 with satisfaction?
TIA.

I forgot to come back and update! Sorry.
I have kept mine. For the price, I'm quite pleased overall! I have already recommended it to a few others.
As it happens, Buy.com still has it on sale ($166) with free shipping:

Feel free to ask specific questions if you have them. I just don't have the time to post an in-depth review. But I did come across a few reviews on these here intrawebs; I'm sure you can find a few as well.

While I'll grant that a bigger screen is typically advantageous, I don't have any difficulty using the 3.5" screen whatsoever. In comparison to the 1st-gen MINI integrated NAV, I find this smaller screen actually easier to use because of the 3D view and screen layout. It all just works. I also like the compactness of this unit. Oh, given all the discussion I've seen elsewhere regarding mounts, I'll note that I'm also pleased with the includedd mount. I'm still trying to settle on my favorite location, but the mount itself is sturdy, has plenty of adjustment, and sticks well. Again, I'm quite happy with the C220 - especially for the money.
I see that there is now a C230 with a slightly brighter screen and "text-to-speech" for around $200. I could see where the text-to-speech could be both handy and annoying. I honestly haven't had a problem with the screen brightness of the C220 in the car - only if I'm holding it outside in direct sunlight (think geo-caching) is it somewhat difficult to see.
The only question I haven't yet answered is how the MIO map update process will work and what kind of cost there may be.
