Newest NAM Birmingham foster kitty
Please pass along!
If anyone doesn't know, Yucca and I foster for a local animal rescue group. We have found great homes for three cats so far! (if you don't count our personal ragamuffin group of adoptees)
Miss Clover Kitty
FCDF came to this girl's rescue after hearing about her from a concerned neighbor. It seems that Miss Clover Kitty was left outside on her own when her human mom moved into a nursing home. The neighbors left out food for her but couldn’t protect her from strays and other neighborhood cats. As a result, the poor girl suffered quite a few wounds. Because she is declawed in the front, she wasn’t able to protect herself while living outside. She has since received thorough vet care and is healing very well (after antibiotic treatment, love, and a lot of rest). It is apparent that she is accustomed to being a house cat. She loves to watch the world from the safety of a windowsill. She does fine with the three huge dogs and multiple cats in her foster home but would clearly prefer a somewhat quieter atmosphere-hopefully with more one to one time with a loving human. As it is, Clover tends to watch from the sidelines and sneak in for attention when things quiet down. She is very undemanding and appears to have no naughty habits. Our vet estimates that she is about two to three years old although we can’t be sure. She is FIV negative, Feline Leukemia negative, up to date on all shots, started on flea preventative, and spayed. She is a “plump” girl and loves to lounge in feline style. If you think you can provide the kind of comfortable indoor only home that she deserves, please email Elizabeth@fcdf.org for more information.

The other day my wife was talking about getting our puppy a friend. Though she is still probably a little too hyper at this point for Clover Kitty. Actually, for me sometimes.
Hope you find her a good home.
