Hello
Hey all,
I've been a lurker around here for a few weeks now and finally decided to post. Just got the money to get myself a '02 MCS and I am loving it. (Yeah I wish i could afford an '05 but people in hell want ice water too) I live in Southside Bham and can't wait to participate in some of the events when I get some time. Anyway, I was wondering if this little "attack" on Tom Williams has made them afraid enough to bend to our wills?
I certainly hope so and wish I could have been there to help.

2003 MINI Owner in Jacksonville, AL
I haven't posted here in about 18 months, but I am very interested in the Tom Will possibility. And I'll also give him kudos on his service. My wife has a 2004 Lexus SUV, and we have been most pleased with his service at Lexus. I'm hoping the BMW/MINI experience would be as pleasing. I got mine in Oct 2002 and I'm just up to 21000 miles. I'm off to Global Imports tomorrow to have the 25000 mile checkup, etc, and I sure do dread the drive. TW is only about 50 minutes away, and is certainly a much easier drive that I285 around Atlanta.
What needs to be done? Do we bombard MINI USA with letters and emails? I'm willing to do whatever to get service at TW.

It's been a while and I was wondering if anyone had any new information about when/if Tom Williams will become a MINI dealer?
Now that we have a brand new Cooper, it would be really nice to have somewhere close to service it.

Up here in Huntsville, Century Automotive carries BMW, Jaguar and Landrover and they just opened a Porsche dealer. I wish they would ditch the Jaguar and sell MINI's since the Porsche dealer took their last available spot.
I haven't been by there lately to see if anything has changed about a date for the MINI dealership. I will try to check it out and see if anyone knows anything. For non-warranty work, I would recommend Stephens Garage on First Ave So. His phone number is 326-4542 and he will make time for MINI owners as he is also a MINI owner.
I can also highly reccommend Stephen's Garage. Stephen is the great. I could go on and on, but anyone needing small non-warranty work in the Birmingham area should stop by and make a new friend while getting quality work done at a fair price.
