Mini oil change

I've had my Mini for a year. It's a great in-town car.
I've driven it only 6500 miles.
I feel like I should get the oil changed but really don't want
to drive to the Atlanta or Nashville dealership to do it. Could I have it done
in Birmingham without violating the warranty?
Thanks

Tom Williams MINI will be up by the spring-by then you should half around 8500-it would be close. If you dont want to go there, I know munich sport, (although not an Official mini place) does oil changes with official BMW oil filters etc. Shouldnt void the warranty.

for independent BMW and MINI maintenance, I like to support Stephen Wittkoop at Stephen's Garage.

He is a MINI owner, BAMA club member, and in the past he has opened his shop to the BAMA club for an educational MINI tech day.

He keeps MINI oil filters in stock, so no need to mail order one yourself for a simple oil change. . .

As a bonus, you never know what neat classic (or newer) cars you might get to see in his garage.

He's downtown.

2417 1st ave S
Birmingham 35233

And don't worry about the warranty. By the time you need to have real factory servicer (and not just an oil change), Tom Williams should be open.

Many thanks for all your advice.

I also found a guy at The AutoShop(B'ham Southside) who changes oil & filters on Minis. He said there's no hurry.
