I was just wondering what everyone had as far as warranties. When I bought my used Mini, they said I would get the balance of the warranty. I just don't know exactly what that is? Is it usually 4 years or 40K miles? Or 3 years?

 

Well, I can tell you that I'm closing in on mine. On the 06, you get 4 years or 50K. Free maintenance up through 3/36. I believe that to be correct.

 

You get free maintenance for 3 years & your warranty runs for 4 years or 48K miles. I took delivery of my MINI on 12/31/2004 so my warranty expires this Dec 31st. You should be able to call the dealer or MINI USA, give them your VIN #, & get the exact date your warranty expires if you are still under the mileage I would think

Car84 goes into the shop again Friday. I'll be in ATL for a trade show, and they're swapping out a seat (heated, sports) which is showing a slight tear on the stitching (as my warranty will click down another 400 miles...). At least I'll get paid for mileage.
