Tweo six packs, one dark from Great Lakes Brewing called the Edmund Fitzgerald (MI), and an IPA that srarts with "Hula"... and I'll be purhcasing the Yuengling and Lord Chesterfield (that one's spoken for) on Monday! My car's gonna look SLAMMED, and I've got stock suspension!

I just learned that my dad is bringing 2 growlers of Midtown Brown from the Moose's Tooth Brewing Company in Anchorage, AK.
Because of Alaska laws micro-brews are very limited to the way they can sell bear that isn't consumed on the premises, hence the growlers instead of bottles. So this will definitely be served cold!

I'll have to try and find you as the "Edmond Fitzgerald" sounds interesting. I love that song.

It's a good 'un... not a "wreck", though if you drink too much, I suppose...

Please hang on to at least one bottle. I'll swap ya some "Flying Dog Ale" for it.

I'm heading out today to go beer shopping. I'm not sure what I'll find, there are 2 bottle shops nearby that carry a nice selection of beer. Probably some Sweetwater and some Red Brick, both from Atlanta, and then I'll see what else I can find. I was out to dinner last night and tried the Sweetwater Happy Ending which is an Imperial Stout. Is anyone interested in that if I can find it? I loved it, but I know some people find Imperial Stouts a bit strong.
I'll be looking for mostly stouts and porters to get at the swap. If anyone is bringing either, let me know if I can bring something you'd like to trade for.

Annette

Jim, consider one Edmund Fitzgerald held for the Flying Dog... this "virtual brew swapping" is fun, but not as good as the real thing!

Also, Chad/DetroitTuned, if you're reading this... I haven't sent in my release yet, I'm assuming I can bring and sign with ID in front of you guys, I hope... I was actually in Detroit for Easter, should've brought it by!

Thanks!

Thank you Dixon, you are a gentleman and a scholar. The Flying Dog is 11.5% alcohol, so a wreck could happen.
