You are welcome to join us. Plenty of room! We have a hookup site from Thursday evening through Sunday. I'm heading down Thursday morning and meeting a friend from Nashville, TN....I'm from Indy as well.

 

I am still up in the air. I am going but lodging right now is sketchy. My backup has always been camping. I am looking for a place as much as 20min away from the main center. Hey there are woods everywhere so lets be real campers and camp out in the woods.

Do you know what site # you will have? I am planning to escape work a little early on Wednesday and head down, so it will probably be late (~11p?) before I arrive (I'll be quiet).

I re-checked the drive time, with the detour coming in from the north via the Cherohala, it could easily be midnight Wednesday before I arrive. Do any of you that offered to share know your site # yet? Don't want anyone to have a surprise visitor in the middle of the night.

We have switched out Campground reservation to a Lodge room.....so there is a site with hookups free now.

My friend from Nashville called me this morning to talk about the trip and we decided that packing up in the rain last year was not so much fun....so we are opting for warmer/drier accommodations this year since there is a chance for rain on Saturday/Sunday.

 

anyone have room for a nissan sentra spec v and a mini to park and most likely sleep in-car for 1 night? me and some friends are driving up thursday night at midnight and will drive the dragon at 8 in the morning. the sentra is havign a new clutch put in it and it has to go to CMP this coming weekend so we have to break it in. so whats better than a 500+ mile round trip to the dragon hes going to take it easy because of the new clutch, but I'm sure he will still have fun. (or at least he better because the guy driving doesn't own the car, the owner is tossing us the keys and saying have it back by 5:00pm Friday with over 500 miles on it and the gas is on him, but the damn thing doesn't have anti lock breaks)

 

I am campsite # 3 and I'm sure I will have more room than I need.

 

I remember that....I came over and threw some taquitas on there. Good stuff. Looking forward to it again.
