Anyone for coordinating a ride location, day and time? I'm shot for Friday and SatAM, but perhaps Wednesday AM? Sometime Thurs afternoon?

I'm on the Road to Nowhere drive but free after that, say 3:30 @ Fontana? Or is there a better place?

Wow, I have tried to get people to go mountain biking before but it always seemed that most folks were either driving, eating, washing the car or sitting in a lawn chair next to their car. I understand that the big reason to go there is to drive the Dragon and surrounding areas, but the sitting in the lawn chair next to the car I don't get at all. Plus it would appear that a bunch of MINI drivers (just like the rest of the USA) could do with a bit of exercise. :-)

IN! Looking forward to it! Meet @ 3:30 at the Tsali parking lot and look for the Minis with bikes near them. I'm not at Fontana, but maybe get a crew to leave Fontana around 3?

May also be available for Wednesday earlier in the day, LMK

330 Thursday couldn't be any better for my schedule- just enough time to drive down from Indy and set up my tent. Where's the meeting spot at 3 for those leaving from Fontana?

I'm a novice at mountain biking, but can't wait to do this.

We're in!!!.... I'll be getting some 'eyes' put on Lucy prior to, but leaving Fontana at 3 sounds like it can be done. I'll have two bikes on her. Pepper white vert w/navy blue top.

We'll definitely want to do both Mouse AND Thompson!!! For the novice riders out there....you shouldn't have any issues at all. Not technical at all.

We'll be riding again on Saturday if anyone wants to ride it again. Unfortunately it will be the same two trails as Right and Left are ridable on Friday and Sunday(we might squeeze R&L in Sunday morning if anyone is interested).

See ya'll on Thurs!!!

Shelley: Thanks for the info - I can handle about anything but my 16 y/o isn't in for anything super technical. Sounds perfect. Heck, I'm in it for the exercise and camaraderie, not to blast the woods to smithereens!

Astro black/silver checkmate w/ 2 bikes on the back...

How about line up on Woods Rd. (east entrance to Fontana Village), but I'd like to shove off at 2:45. Google maps says it's a 40 min. drive.

Sounds like a plan to me, 245 it is. Though I suspect most of us will slightly better Google maps drive times

I'll be offsite and meet y'all there. Are the instructions on the link above accurate?

I've never been there, but on the map it looks right.

OK. I'm actually staying midway between Fontana and Tsali then, will either see you on the road or meet you there.

Hey anyone else playing Bingo at 7pm?? I feel certain we'll be back by then, barring any mechanicals....but wanted to see who else will be needs to be back by then. Mouse and Thompson are the shorter of the 4 trails, so it should be okay.

You guys are correct, it does take about 40 minutes to get to Tsali, so I'm good for 2:45 unless anyone feels we need to start a little earlier due to Bingo.

No fee for Bingo, may be a fee for Tsali. I have to be back for Bingo as well, so lets plan on being off the trails by 6 at the latest.
