So, what did you folks think of the two Christian Moerlien brews that I brought (OTR Pale Ale & Emancipator Dopplebock)? The two that stood out for me was the Burton Oak aged Imperial IPA from Dogfish & the Apple Lambic.
I managed to get none. Most everyone seemed to already be completely swapped out by the time I made it to their table. I had 2 cases for swapping and ended up bringing back about 14 of my own (good thing I like them!).
I think my trouble is that I am always there by myself and I generally feel compelled to "man my station" with the samples for a while. That nets me some swaps, but certainly not 2 cases worth. Even though I didn't make it out to actively swap for about 30 minutes or so, the swapping happened so darn fast this year that I had to really work to find people with beer left to swap.
Too bad, 'cause I was looking forward to getting some Moerlein.
CM has to be available somewhere in Pittsburgh. I'm going to PM you Greg Hardman's (the owner) personal email. He is a great guy & will take care of you I'm sure.
