Need volunteers for MOTD Registration (free special T-shirt!)
Hey everyone,
Only a few more days until we all enjoy our blissful vacation in MINI paradise!
We are in need of volunteers to assist with manning the Registration Desk, which will be located in the main tent. The registration desk is a wonderful opportunity to meet a large number of new MINI owners in a short period of time, so you can quickly put a bunch of faces to usernames!
The first 17 volunteers who commit to assisting for 3 hours or more will get a free (and limited edition!) MOTD volunteer T-shirt! The shirts are yellow with VOLUNTEER written across the shoulders, and a big MOTD logo on the back of the shirt. Unfortunately, to accommodate the widest variety of volunteers, all of the shirts are XL. However, volunteers are not required to wear one of the shirts, so if you won't fit the shirt and you'd still like to help, we'd love to have you!

Combination Information/Registration desk
Just a thought...
Why couldn't the Info Desk and Registration Desk be combined as one?
I've already volunteered myself for the Info Desk on Wednesday from 1-5pm
But I see no reason why the two issues couldn't be done from the same location.
If you decide this is something that will workout then you know you already have my assistance.

OK - list updated again... hahnsie, the slots are all filled for Wednesday, but just in case I have added you as a 3rd alternate, so there's no harm in showing up to ask if we can still help.
That being said: Thanks everyone, we have plenty of people for Wednesday... but we still need more people for Thursday afternoon, both slots on Friday, and the one on Saturday morning.
Please let us know if you can help out with any of those time slots!

Alternates will only get a shirt if they actually end up replacing a no-show. You have to actually earn the shirt!

To all of the registration volunteers - huge, hearty THANK YOU for your valuable time. I was nervous when I posted the message asking for help, since it was only 4 days before the event!
Although we got a bit "thinned out" at the end, the number of people needing to be checked in also dwindled, so it worked out OK.
Next year we'll be sure to have sign-ups earlier... but this year's process was a resounding success thanks to all of your help! Bravo!
