I am hesitant to announce it here because I am leaning more towards canceling the reservation completely, but I have a 3 bedroom (1 qn, 2 twn, 2 bunk) cabin that I have to give up. I have a reservation from Sat Apr 26- Sun May 3. If someone/people wants to pick up the reservation, you can have it. Or you can wait and call Fontana and grab it up.
I will only be offering this till Monday morning when I am going to call Fontana and cancel this reservation or transfer it over to someone else. This is PRIME location Cabin 515. We can see about decreasing the reservation time.

I have to give it up since Jay isn't coming, Scavenger's wife isn't coming and HAPA isn't able to come either! And I don't want to pay for it all myself

Ok...OK... I have a couch!! and a floor!! The more the merry!! Fontana Villiage... IF you want to come to the DRAGON... then this might work for you.. what the hell, no one is ever in these cabins anyway.. it is the DRAGON!! It is the NC/Tn Mountains!! yes!!?

You all are getting me excited about going---and it's actually possible this year---am off for most of the time and will be negotiating to get some extra time off----thanks for all the info about last minute rooms-----might be going alone but still looking for company that can spare the time to go. The drive out from Hot Springs would be worth it on it's own----

All the above. The Smokey Mountains in the late spring has all of it. Last year, Wednesday and Thursday were in the 90s. Friday it was ok, and Saturday it poured! So...something for everyone

Hey we are interested in going, but can't find lodging anywhere. Do you still have the tent space available? We would be coming in on Thursday late afternoon early evening and leaving Sunday late morning.

 

Right after we posted we called Fontana on a whim and they just had a cancellation of a tent site...so nevermind!! See you there!
