We had a good time camping again this year, we were near the entrance and talked some with the guys beside us, but didn't get up to the far end. Did try to wave to everyone that drove by. I was outside Friday working on my daughter's 1st place WINNING
pinebox derby MINI at our picnic table and can tell you security drove thru about every hour, probably just coincidence they rode thru. How could anyone complain anyway= no phones. And the electrical contractor guys were actually pretty cool too. Looking forward to next year, maybe get up there earlier so we can slow down a bit. I prebought two car blanks so I can hopefully complete those ahead of time, that race really was a lott of fun. Hope to see everyone back next year

convince your wife to camp, too! We maybe will bring our two daughters next year as well, but if we do then we'll have to drive both MINIs to get the camping gear down with us!Originally Posted by Fatherdeth
I had fun camping, but I'm sort of a loner, so hopefully I didn't offend anybody by not hanging out. I hate just showing up to someone's site. I did on the other hand enjoy meeting everybody. This was my second year camping, and will most certaintly do it again next yera, unless I can finally convince my wife to come. Regardless, next year I'm bring my daughter.
love your car, and thanks for the run-down on where you got all of the lights. I'm going to look into the driving lights pretty seriously later this summer.

It was great meeting all of you as well, as luck would have it work has really been a bear and this is the first chance I had to say it was a really great and fun time camping and we just might do it again next year.
