Dragonflamez!

I just remembered that I made these back in the summer especially for the Dragon. Put these on for the St. Paddy's Day parade and they'll be coming off shortly until May (they're magnetic). Just thought people might find this amusing...

Yeah by hand... I went through this "experimentation" phase, y'see, and did LOTS of things.

I think they're a little "much" for everyday use (ironic I know, coming from ME) but on the Dragon they'll be tons o' fun.

Well they start out white and are flexible which would destroy true chroming, but I guess you could try silver paint... That WOULD look striking as hell, though... Are you asking me to make you a set in your oh, so subtle way, Clo? I guess I DO have a few weeks till the Dragon and I need to pick up some magnet material anyway for a special project I'm working on...

Maybe I'll make a few sets and bring them down. If I do, I'll do yours up in silver.

Your "project"??? Yeah, you could call it that. Anyone want to know what he's up to? It's pretty freakin' funny.

Since we're towing the MINI down to the Dragon, he's making bonnet and boot stripes for our Suburban to counterfeit it! He even has an extra CooperS badge that he's going to put on the back. Think anyone will be fooled? Next year....Suburbans on the Dragon! We'll take those curves at a nail-biting 10 MPH!

Looks like he is going to eat the marker light! BTW I like the "SUPERCHARGED" emblem below said light.

It's true... BLimey gave me the idea. It's gonna be HILLARIOUS. I glued my extra Cooper S badge to a red-painted magnet sheet trimmed to fit it. It will sit on the rear.

Matt, Those dragons rock!!! I would sooooooo love to get a set but I know you don't know me but I could introduce myself....

"Hi, My names Angela....I'm from Lancaster, Ohio and I drive a Hot Orange Cooper Cabrio (aka Chester)!"

There now you know me! Oh, can I please buy a set from you? Black or Silver or Chrome vinyl....it doesn't matter.

I had a V8 MINI counterfeit on the Dragon last year thank you very much. Did you see the big blue conversion can with bonnet stripes, MINI logos, and the MIN counterfeit MINI traveler 'dealer price sheet'?

Alas, I lost that memory card and lost all my pics of my countefeited van.

Doing the Dragon in a E150 was certainly 'different'. Slow turns then V8 muscle for a squirt to the next turn. Did ok on flat and slow climbs, but would heat the brakes too much on descending bits even leaving her in second and there just had to take it extra slowly.

Dragon Cutouts

Now you have done it...loosed the hounds of hell.

I wouldn't want to copy your dragon cutout since people might think I was stealing your idea but using the magnetic stuff to do another cutout is something else. The possibilities are limitless. You could have started something here.
