I did. After getting ready for the dinner and setting aside what I want to take. I realized about 2 hours ago I forgot to get me something to eat through out the weekend. I just got back from a quick shopping trip and hopefully now I have everything.

Will post pics when I get home tomorrow but the dinner was so much fun. We had waaaay too much food & it was all amazing I got a late donation on Saturday so we raised enough money to send 3-1/2 doggies to New Hampshire for adoption

Sounds like y'all have had an awesome trip. Can't wait to see more pics!

I am rather concerned about that 1/2 doggie though. How much more do you need to send a whole dog?

I know we need $25 more dollars to ship the rear half MBE we will just ship 3 pups & give them a down payment on #4 We did great though, I was hoping to send 2 doggies so we well exceeded that. Pics will come soon. I feel like being lazy for a teeny bit

We had a generous donation made today in order to cover the rear half of pup #4 so YAY!!! we are sponsoring 4 doggies. I Paypalled our donations to the Shelter today & the lady there said they were getting together their next trip & would send me the pics of our pups once the trip gets underway. I will keep everyone posted

That's great news about the donation. I was at MINI of Nashville today and they were happy to hear from others besides myself on how well the NSW dinner went.

The Not Safe for Work dinner rocked!

Who knew being unwelcome could taste so good?

Thanks to everyone who made or brought so many goodies.

Totally agree! NSW dinner was awesome! Sorry I didn't get to stick around as much as I woulda liked, but demands of the beagle and all... Freddie certainly liked the chili and BBQ though!

Dinner was AMAZING! Sorry I showed up so late, my install took a little longer then I thought (but worth every minute). I couldn't believe how much food there was.

We even grabbed some chili to-go!

I know there are still a couple of people who didn't get their shirts. I'll be checking the list again tonight, but if you remember paying for one but not getting it, PM me and let me know if your address in PayPal is valid and I can ship it to you.

(thanks Theresa for delivering Clo's)

I will be happy to share my cornbread recipe. If anybody else wants it let me know. I will type it up & send it out this evening after work.

Glad everyone enjoyed being unwelcome as much as I did I will be starting a new thread with our doggies adoption progress as soon as they are off. The lady at the Shelter said, it's not for sure but they were trying to get a trip organized for May 17th. As soon as she sends me the info I will post our pups

You know, french_toaster had an awesome idea...

What if we did a NSW themed weekend? I know that I would have rather had another bowl of Theresa's chili then that... chicken? was it?... at the Farewell Grill.

Of course we'd have to probably not do everything at 549... then again... why don't we all just stay there!!! 60 person slumber party all weekend!!!

(Isn't it nice how I sell out people's cabins for them)

Well provided nothing gets screwier at the Fontana Reservation Desk... I will be in cabin 549 again next year I do plan to do the NSW Dinner again next year (prob on Thurs nite again) as I really preferred the casual atmosphere of everyone just eating, chatting, & hanging around. So everybody mark your calenders for around 5PM @ cabin 549 on 5/1/08

Ahhh... Thursday it is then!

Sign me up!

Eric and I have already discussed how I'm going to have him install a cup holder... or maybe an arm rest next year... instead of an entire brake system. So I'll be there from start to finish!

What better way to embrace the true procrastination spirit of the Not So Welcome Dinner than to have it a day later?
