we may be bringing our 2 year old, 5 year old and 7 year old but are not 100% on all the details with school and everything else....

You can check with your school district. The trip may qualify as an excused absence if you can show it's educational, which should be very easy to do.

In our school district if you give the teacher enough notice they will give you a "home study" package. It is basically just their work in a package and excused. Our kids will not be coming with us but they will be missing school while we are gone and this is what we are doing.

Maybe next year we'll bring our daughter when she's a little older. She'll only be 6 months old this May. Oh, she was definitely there last year. She reminded my wife while on the dragon that she was.

She only had to go up it on Thursday and down on Sunday so she got some much needed rest that weekend.

I'm bringing my 10 year old Daughter. She's totally jazzed! She loves MINI's & going fast as much as I do. She even rides along during Autocross with anyone who will give her a ride.
