That's a cool idea lotsie! Every new model that comes out, there'd be an Expo for that car at the next Dragon meet. I like it! BUT, since you thought of the Clubman one, you've therefore nominated yourself to make that happen next year! *grin*

designerMINI: Great to hear you've committed! See you in two months!

Cheers,
Ryan

I think Ruby deserves more space to spread out now, especially since you have an extra passenger.

Just to clarify, we're going to try to meet around 12-noon. This way the people that go on the morning Dragon Parade have sufficient time to get back to Fontana to come check out the R56's!

What about the MC40's? We were the first Special Edition and there is only 1,000 built unlike the more common GP of 2,000.

mc40monster; you're more than welcome to organize an MC40 meet, however the point of the R56 Expo is to let current Mini and MINI owners get a feel for the new R56 up close and personal and talk to the new owners and how they like them. As an ex-R53 owner, I'm sure many others will be able to relate to my comparisons between the two chassis and hopefully gain some common understanding as to how the R50/53 and R56 are all MINIs in some fashion.

Hey I'll be there checking out the new NEW MINI. I want to know how they are going to do on the Dragon. I do envy you guys for that new motor. You get a Turbo and an actual DOHC Motor that isn't built by Chrysler. See ya at the Dragon.

Are there any more R56 owners thinking of coming to the Dragon this May!? We're going to have a nice turnout, but more is better in this case!

Unfortunately, M7 won't be there this year so there's a lot more space now...

The Vendors are displaying up at the Adventure Center parking lot; the R56 Expo is down at the Laundromat parking lot, which is where the vendors were last year. There shouldn't be any conflicts.

For what it's worth my press car will be laser blue/white top MCS with (if all goes according to plan) 18" OZ Ultraleggera wheels

--->quemas; great to hear you're joining in. The SS/redwood combo is very striking, I'm sure it'll be quite a looker.

See you soon everyone! Drive safe! Cross your fingers for decent weather too and this storm front blows over quickly.
