I am definitely interested in the autocross.
GS with street tires
Though I'm guessing there will be a lot more competition in that class than I am used to!
Are counterfeit MINIs allowed? I have some non-MINI car buddies that I am trying to cajole to come along.

This is a East Tennessee Region SCCA event so while we'll likely have a large number of MINIs all types of cars are welcome.
Has anyone run the autocross with runflats?? Want to join in for some fun
, but would like your thoughts on the disadvantages. I know that a few bring an extra set of wheels and tires..

No problems autocrossing on the Run-Flats...I did the MOTD autocross on them last year.
Run-Flats are not the fastest tires out there, but that doesn't mean you won't have fun on them...

Actually Mark, what they did last year was limit non-Minis to ETRSCCA members, so they would be sure and have enough room for the MINIs. We were close to the limit of MINIs on pre-signups but a few folks decided, last minute, not to run. I don't think ETR has a problem with what cars actually run but there are limits to how many cars can run at this site. Check with Scott and he can give you the details. I think he allowed for 25-30 ETR members and 40-50 MINIs.
I know of some Hampton Roads, Virginia people who are just a little excited about a sign up announcement

It looks like this thing is a go. I just found it on the ETR Schedule:

(don't mind the 2006 heading, this is the current schedule and the event is 5/5/07)

Autocross registration is now open!
I've added the autocross to the event planner so get your RSVP and registration in before the spots fill up.
If you happened to see the My Auto Events page for the event go up a few days ago and have registered be sure to go to the event planner and RSVP so I'll know how many are registered.
Thanks!
