Reporting LIVE from the DRAGON....
Reporting AFTER the Dragon!
I'm home!
Thanx everybody for helping out. After hours of debating about it, i decided to call Roadside on Sunday night. Monday morning a Flat bed towed me 29 miles to Century MINI in Greenville, SC. At first i was worried because the Service Advisor (not to sound bad or anything) was just treating my case like a normal warranty issue, he said we might be able to look at your car sometime in the afternoon..... (usually cars broken down on roadtrips get priority with the MINI trip interuption program). Problem also is that i needed to drive 10-12 hrs back to Miami and had to be at work the next day at 6am and really don't have the option to call in Sick without screwing over alot of people. So i'm thinking i'll have to leave the car and drive down in a rental. Then i would have to return later in the week to pick the car up.
But, we decide to go snoop and talk to some of the mechanics over in the MINI shop(they actually had a seperate shop, most are usually mixed with the BMW's). Thank god i ran into Brent the head MINI technician. He instantly asked to see the car, he agreed with the previous diagnosis that the Slave Cylinder was dead. Only hurdle now was to pray he had a Slave in stock at parts, after 10 min one of the mechanics show up with a new one! He then told me he would quickly finish up the current car he was working on and have all his guys start on mine! He said changing the part would be quick but bleeding would take 2-3 hours but he could have me on the road by 12 noon! I was literally jumping for joy.
They all jumped on it and had my car done by 12! Brent and his crew freakin rocked! I couldn't thank them enough, but i did show my appreciation to them :D $$
So once the car was good we took off for Miami and arrived around Midnight.
I'll post more info and pics when i have more time later!

Lining up for the Parade

After the parade I hung out at the overlook for a while

Surfin the Dragon!

Got some kool bikers riding by. This shot i was standing a foot off the side of the road with the wide angle going and literally put the camera in the guys face hehe.

The other side of the over look isn't too shaby either...

Those lights must rock at Midnight on the Dragon...

Almost the colors from the italian job....
