ok, you have another contestant....It looked like a fun event but at first I wanted to watch, but with only 3 people you were about to not have an event. So I wanted to help and I look forward to rewarding you all with excellent chili. yum-yum.
glad we are getting more contestants. The prize baskets will have over $100 of chef/MINI goodies in each of them, so I hope you guys are ready to cook some yummy Chili!

That's the plan!
I'm gonna cook up some Good Eatin' Chili rather than the less enjoyable competition variety. Winning is the goal, but not the object It's gonna be a great time for all
I signed up as a contestant too. I think the real reward is just to see folks enjoy the different kinds of chili that we come up with and just have fun with the experience. It's all good!
OK, fighting my "Cuban time" urge, I signed up for this BEFORE the deadline - so at least there will be 7 of us "competing". Now, it was difficult for me to adjust my recipe UP, especially when I'm not sure how "servings" relates to "gallons" - so, hopefully I didn't grossly overestimate the amount the ingredients I'll need (or underestimate for that matter!).
I have a question about the "heat source" we need to bring... does it need to be self contained (i.e. fire or propane or whatever) or will there be outlets for, say, an electric type heat source? Fire + Cathy = risky business.
