If its Friday morning, I may not be able to make it. My appt to get my graphics put on is from 9-11 Friday morning

 

Well, the parade can carry on for a while with people hanging out at the end of the parade. So we'd have to take our crappy MINIs and high tail back to the dam so that we can take that dam photo! I know I can't hang around too long because I have to get things set up for the Chili Cook Off.

Saturday 10am is my first choice, unless some can't make it. Top or bottom of the Dam.

Friday is fine if Saturday won't work

 

so.....are we getting together for a group photo?

 

I'm up for it... I plan on heading back to the Dam immediately following the parade... I just don't know if we should go to the bottom or the top. Personally I think the photo will be nicer on top, but it does depend on how many JCWers are there, because there is less grass space on top for it.

How about we head to the top, on the OTHER side of the Dam... unless we decide there's too many, and we'll THEN go back down?

As for the parade, the Tabcat Bridge area has the potential to become CLOGGED and a huge traffic jam if even half of the MINIs go on the parade... so much so that I'm going to be suggesting to those people in the front of the parade to immediately turn around at the bridge and start coming back... hopefully most people will follow suit.

 

The last two times I was at the dam, they had the road across it closed.
You might want to have a contingency plan for where to meet.

 

Alrighty then...the Dam after the parade. I'll bet I'll beat you all there!

 

Thanks for the tip, Pete... if the road across the dam is closed, we'll meet in the parking lot on the near side, for the observation & information desk / lookout.

 

I'll be there if my graphics are done, but I may still be over in the ball field when everyone gets back from the parade

 

And one more note for me... I have to be at the base of the Dam no later than 11:30am on Friday (to help Wagnbat with the organizing of the panoramic pic), so if we meet at the top, I will be jetting out by 11:15am... if I'm not around there, I'm at the base!
