Just a little bump so new people coming on the boards can be aware of this event.

I'll try and bring some Arturo Fientes and/or Griffins both are smooth and my wife loves the smell, I can probably get her to try one too.

i used to get a box of 8-5-8's once a month before the price went up so much a few years ago. Chateu's, Hemmingways, pretty much all there products I like. I got into Griffins about 10 year ago and love them too, 200's, 300's, President's.

Ok, I finally made a decision - I've ordered some Don Rafael cigars by Victor Sinclair. I've heard and read good things about them but never actually smoked one. ...I can't decide if I'll smoke any before I get to the Dragon or not. Nah, I think I'll just wait and save the experience for the "Salon." Even if they're good, I know they will taste better that way! (Cigars always taste better among good company! )

...and I'm just bringing a small flask of Glenfiddich Solera Reserve scotch.

Hi, Sam! Just come by the porch after 8:30 PM with your booze and sticks! Thursday evening at the Adventure Center at Fontana Village (aka The Dam Room/The Rec Hall).

Last year, folks brought their own sticks and lots of cigar-swapping ensued. Bring your favorites along with the "drinking materials!"

I just want to remind everyone that the 2nd Cigar Salon will take place three weeks from tonight [on May 4], at 8:30 PM til whenever we finish, on the porch outside the Rec Hall, right after the Welcome Dinner! We'll have cigars to sample, along with cutters and matches...and, of course, something to refresh ourselves with! See y'all there!

This is a really mellow and fun way to meet all your cigar-enjoying pals from NAM. We had a great time at last year's. And for those who don't smoke, these are really pleasant smokes....not your granddad's stinky ol' stogies! Everyone is welcome to come hang out! Bring your favorite beverage!

I'm looking forward to it!
Somewhere along the way I got my nights mixed up and thought it was the same night as the Brew Swap. Thursday night is actually better as we had nothing planned that night.

Just got in my swappin' materials! You guys will be so disappointed.
Let's just say "RP coffins". There's the numbers. You do the math.
Don't forget punches & torches. I'll have mine. Not everything has to be cutter (double bladed I hope!) or lit with a match. Don't care for scissors or v-cutters but to each their own.

I will be there. Hopefully this DARN cough will go away. It really sucks to be allergic to cherry blossoms and live in DC!! GO FIGURE!! Hummm. Let me see what is in my darling husbands humidor to bring. Probably some Acids, since I can smoke those and stand them LOL (light girlie stogie here) and probably some others. I will ask him what I can bring to sample, but I have a stash of Acids..blondies and such. It might be nice to get back to smokin a bit. Count me IN!

I'll bring cutters [double-bladed] and matches, as well as ashtrays for the "cultured". I'm also bringing a cigar selection..."un poco de todo", as they say.

See y'all next week!

I will be there, girlfriend too. Not too big of a cigar fan, as a smoker I have a hard time not inhaling, and with good cigars that is well....

But sounds like it will be a good place to hang out and start the meeting and greeting.
