MINI RC and toys...

I'm preparing my 1/10 nitro AWD MINI for the Dragon's parking lot. Anyone one else interesed in bringing your toy down for some lawn chair activity? Any type/scale will do. Maybe bring your collectables to show off/swap/buy/sell? I have 10 four inch cones for a course layout Could use more...

I've heard from a little bird that a vendor will be making a prominant showing this year. This Toy fair could be part of that if I asked nicely...

Don't get me started again by teasing me like this!

A few years ago, I spent several thousand dollars building one insane 4x4 racing truck (HPI Nitro MT). Had every hop-up part, custom titanium and carbon fiber crap, etc etc etc.

Then one day it dawned on me when buying a set of super awesome shocks, that it was costing as much to modify and work on this toy as it was to work on my real car!!!!!

I will throw in one or two of my HPI electric classic Minis for the trip to the dragon. I, too, am interested in what your nitro chassis and New MINI body shell is.

It's a Proline 200mm body and I should've gotten two when I had the chance as it is now discontinued The chassis is CEN CT4-R with a 1.5hp big block that's capable of toping 75mph

Ah that is what I thought. ProLine made the MCS version. Too bad they did not make the spolier. Heck even my Tamiya body doesn't have the spoiler that MIB has.

I am going to do up a new body for my MO3L. Attempting to paint it as a replica for MIB. Astro black will be a difficult color to replicate. I am going to do a paint chip of the following misting coat of Createx Ultramarine Blue backed with Pactra silver metal flake and then Parma Fas Black. If all works out I will be buying a new body from Tamiya. I also plan on adding lights and using Spazstix chrome instead of the Tamiya decals.

Sounds exactly like someone else i know. He bought a MINI-T, added a Mamba, and went crazy after that. All titanium and carbon. Nothing in that car was how he bought it... 1000$ later, he moved onto the Pro RS4. lol.
The Mini-t hasn't moved in months, since it's been in pieces waiting for more hopups to come in I'd love to steal it and bring it down though. It's so much fun to do wheelies! I even painted the shell pink and made it look like a dodge ram.

I'll bring my Tamiya classic electric Mini....

I love R/C but it is so addicting that I blow money on it like crazy and then it collects dust.....

So I kept the classic and got rid of everything else.
