Most of the FL MINIs head straight up to Atlanta then make a left. I go up through AL, GA and TN myself, but will be getting up there a few days before you roll through the area.

Well there is actually a very solid MINI posse in the Chattanooga area (Scenic City MINIS) which will go up for MOTD. I most likely though will not leave Chattanooga until Thursday after work. But my work is actually about 20 minutes closer to the Dragon, thus possible only less than one hour motoring to the event. :-(

Hey everyone. I was just looking at some website about the dragon and went to http://www.tapocolodge.com/ and they still have the mini pictures on their main page. That is cool! Forget all the other cars that are on the dragon they want the MINI's.

Yup, the Tapoco Lodge really enjoys seeing the MINIS stop by.

We got ourselves a convoy!

Breaker, Breaker... anyone got their ears on?

I know we've got plenty of time to figure this out, and maybe it should be a seperate thread. But, I wanted to find out if there are any Dragon convoys starting in or passing through the DC Metro area.

Go on over to the DC Metro MINIs forum and ask. I know many people in your area will be heading Dragon way.

As sndwave has noted, post this over in the DCMM area. Since they are heavily involved I would expect a rather large convoy headed sometime.

About how many Minis were at last year's MOTD? Sorry if it has already been posted somewhere else, but I couldn't find any good threads on last years MOTD. Anyone know the name of some threads from last years event with some pictures?

Chili cook-off question

can someone help. This will be our first Dragon. We want to attend the Welcome and Farewell Dinners. Is the chili cook-off also a dinner, or just some contest? Trying to figure out if I need to make dinner arrangements somewhere else.

Thanks

Hi there! The Chili Cook Off will have food being served as well as the Chili Cook Off Contest.

Are we going to be encouraged to bring some food to share like last year? I thought that was an excellent way to sample new foods, as well as to cool off the Chili Cookoff participants. I'll be happy to bring another Mexican cornbread to the supper , but the authentic sangria goes to the revellers at the Cigar Salon!
