It is mothers day weekend. So why not bring mom? I am.
But (being nosey) how young are you?
And bringing mom is cool. It lets her have fun too! Then she will be able to meet all the cool Mini people and let come to any event. Just a thought.

Yep, plus by caravaning down with the NE Ohio Group in the Great NE Caravan, tell her we will look out for you, as we do everyone, and make sure no one gets left behind!
( except Welshman, who couldn't find the go pedal)
Safety is stressed at all events, everyone drives their car down and everyone drives back, them's the rules, you drive the Dragon at your pace, there is no racing, and no pressure for you or anyone to overdrive or do anything foolish. If there are cars behind you that are faster, wait until there is a pull off and let them go by. It takes a while to get used to, so just be cool and that way you can come back next year without the hassle:smile:

Is it his car? Or yours? There's probably more of us that are your Dad's age than your age
My son was your age when he went on his first road trip alone. I worried the whole weekend but that's a MOM thing:smile: And like Minzilla said there's lots of us who can take you under our wing

THERE IS AN AGE LIMIT FOR UNACCOMPANIED DRIVERS!
I have spoken with the insurance company who is covering this event, they will not extend the coverage to solo drivers below the age of 18. Licensed drivers below the age of 18 may still attend and participate but they must have a parent or guardian accompany (ride in the car with) them on all of the driving activities they participate in.
Since in most states contracts and waivers are unenforceable with minors, a parent or guardian must be with them. But since the insurance is only for the driving portions, this only applies to the driving portions.
Being 18 Rednwhite, you're all set. Honestly, I wasn't expecting anybody under 18 to be coming down solo anyway.

My Son Will be there with his Mini and he is 18 so looks like quite a few younguns
.
but then some of us with birthdates that are around the mid 1940`s most of y`all could be classed as younguns.

Its "My" car... kinda....
my moms name until i get outta college cause, from what i hear, insurance is cheaper..
they just tell me what i owe them for the month and i pay her and she takes car of it.
i guess living at home still has its perks!
